Museum hosts Black Maria Film Festival kickoff

The Festival is an annual juried competition traveling to audiences across the U.S. and abroad, featuring new short works in all genres, and supporting the work of international independent filmmakers.The screening will be Saturday, Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. where Festival Director Jane Steuerwald will introduce the selection of Jury’s Stellar Award-Winning films to be screened, and filmmakers will be present for a Q & A. There is a suggested donation of $10 at the door. The Black Maria Film Festival celebrates creativity and innovation in the moving-image arts.
